Our electric actuators are new generation of multi-turns electric actuators  developed and manufactured by Giflon company's technical team based on users need and years of experience.

Our electric actuators can be produced to a variety of models according to users need, such as basic model, intelligent model, BUS model, intelligent split model and etc, safe, stable and reliable to meet different applications in various fields and scenarios.

Our multi-turns electric actuators can not only be equipped with vertical motion valves such as control valves, gate valves, globe valves, etc. but also with quarter-turn valves such as butterfly valves, ball valves, plug valves, etc after conjunct with a worm gearbox.

The direct output torque range of s is 60N.m - 3000N.m, rotation speed range is 18rpm - 144rpm, bigger torque can be output through equipping an electric special worm gear box  according to different speeds,and different speed ratios.

1. Reliability

The design of GEM series actuators has considered to be used  in the harshest situations. All parts have been passed strict inspection and testing to ensure  reliability of the equipment after long-term operation. Based on many years of design and manufacturing experience in the actuator industry, each actuator must pass several inspections to ensure long-term and reliable operation under different working conditions. The new generation actuator has an optimized control method; the enhanced signal processing method has complete screened  interference signals from control signal; the electrical parts are in a double-sealed waterproof shell, and a remote can be used to set Various parameters  for the electric actuator, and all components meet the requirements of explosion-proof grade.

2.Easy to  set and configure

Setting and software configuration are simpler and more user-friendly. It has a newly designed human-machine interface and easy-to-understand graphical menus. Any  parameter setting is easier  corresponding users instructions .  Ensuring the correct parameter settings  and keeping them safe are the basis for stable operation. The configuration interface is more abundant, providing a variety of interface selection, configuration, diagnosis and other functions. It uses high-precision dot matrix LCD to easily switch between Chinese and English language. Users do not need to remember different symbols and only need to follow the instruction on the screen to make setting and configuration adaptation to different operating environments.

3. Multiple control methods

GEM series multi-turns actuators can provide a variety of extended control functions on the basis of the original switch type and regulating type, including various industrial BUS  such as Modbus-RTU and Profibus-DP. Suitable for different control needs.

4. Complete self-diagnosis and protection functions

It can diagnose overload, overheating on motor and power supply and etc. It can also automatically identify the three-phase power supply phases, and there will be no reverse  due to wiring mistake; in an emergency, the actuator can keep its position or turn to a preset safe position; the actuator also can measure the output torque  accurately , and protect the valve during operation to prevent stuck on the valve; if the valve is stuck, when the start signal is sent, but no action starts in the preset time.  the logic circuit can disconnect the motor to prevent overheating on the motor and send out an alarm signal;

The actuator is equipped with a clutch  at the hand wheel. In emergency or configuring conditions, the button in the middle of the hand wheel can be pressed.

After pressing the clutch button, the clutch device can effectively and safely disconnect the drive of the motor, and you can easily turn the hand wheel.

When the motor is running, even  the clutch button is not pressed, the hand wheel will not running and hurt your hand. After the motor stops, the valve can be easily opened or closed by turning the hand wheel, no need to spend big force or add an extension rod to handle, so that when operating the actuator at high altitude, the workers can be more easier and safe.

The new generation of deceleration side-mounted hand wheel is better than the traditional column direct-drive hand wheel no need to extra force to  operate high-torque valves, making on-site operation much easier.
